New busking spots to spark up Bunbury
Buskers now have more places to perform their chosen talents with Bunbury City Council expanding busking locations in the CBD.
Mayor Gary Brennan said the move was in line with the council's determination to revitalise the city.
"Attracting a greater range and number of street performers will add to the atmosphere around the city," he said.
Mr Brennan said it would also attract a greater number of visitors to the CBD.
Musicians and entertainers will now have the option to perform at places like Guppy Park, Market Square and Jetty Baths along with several other locations.
Paisley Square and Bicentennial Square in Bunbury were the only two places allowing people to busk previously.
Buskers must still obtain approval from the Bunbury City Council first.
