A group of West Coast Eagles fans from the South West will spend two days on a bus to be at their team's Grand Final clash with Hawthorn at the MCG on Saturday.

Bunbury couple Guy and Grace Chiappalone said the 50-hour journey was well worth it before they left yesterday morning.

Mr Chiappalone has been a member of the Eagles for more than 20 years, but has never been at the MCG to see them win one of their three premierships.

"It is something we have wanted to do in the last 15 years," he said.

Busselton-based company Gannaway Charters and Tours owner Ray Gannaway said three drivers would take turns to drive the bus across the Nullarbor to get the fans to Melbourne on Friday morning.

He has organised a charter bus every time a West Australian team has made the AFL Grand Final.

"We are very proud to take the best football supporters of the best football teams in Australia for the best football game of the year," he said.

For the record, Mr Chiappalone believes the Eagles will win by 10 points.
