Unique items will be on display at a Bunbury exhibition which will help commemorate the centenary of the Gallipoli landings.

The new Bunbury Museum and Heritage Centre will unveil the Remembering Them exhibition on Saturday at Bunbury Regional Art Galleries and it will run until May 31.

Museum curator Lauretta Davies said the exhibition included items from private collections, the WA Museum, the Australian War Memorial and the State of Library of WA.

"Some of the special items include a slouch hat with emu feathers, a very sad telegram sent to Australia in which it describes how a family member has died and a range of swords, she said.

Eaton resident Judith Reeve's father Lesley Paisley served with the Camel Corp during World War One and her family donated photos and a camera case to the exhibition.
