Rescue unfolding in waters off Rottnest Island as boat takes on water with three onboard

An emergency rescue unfolded off Rottnest Island after a boat took on water with three people onboard.

Water Police officers attended the situation with Rottnest Island rangers also involved in the rescue effort on Thursday morning.

It is understood everybody was taken to safety and nobody was injured.
