Semi-trailer trucks will use Spencer and Edward streets to deliver goods for Aldi's new store in the Bunbury CBD.

The plans, which have been reviewed by the _South Western Times _, show that minor changes will be made to the Spencer Street and Edward Street intersection to accommodate 19m trucks.

Aldi will build a 1000sq m store, a loading area and a 95-bay carpark on the 10,000sq m site. This will leave about 2800sq m land vacant.

However, a traffic study paid for by the developer claims there will only be a minor increase in delays and queues on roads in the area.

Consultant Transcore claims there will be an extra 1846 vehicle trips to the supermarket on a Saturday, which can be accommodated by the road system.
