Tip-off leads to Collie drug crop
Collie police have charged a man after a hydroponic drug set-up was discovered in a commercial building in the town's CBD.
The 45-year-old Northam man was charged after 63 cannabis plants were discovered when police searched a Forrest Street building on Tuesday afternoon following a tip-off.
The man was charged with cultivating drugs with intent to sell or supply, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Collie Police Sergeant Tracey Keown said the arrest was a pleasing result and thanked the public for providing the information.
