Students and young basketballers will get a chance to meet their Perth Wildcats heroes when the stars of the National Basketball League franchise tour the region this week.

Captain Damian Martin, vice-captain Greg Hire and veteran Shawn Redhage will visit 10 primary and high schools in the region from tomorrow until Friday. Along for the ride will be the seven NBL championship trophies the Wildcats have won.

The four-day tour visits Waroona, Pinjarra, Brunswick, Australind and Bunbury.

On Thursday and Friday night as well as Saturday, the players will host a coaching clinic at the South West Sports Centre for children under the age of 14, with a fourth clinic on Saturday afternoon at the Leschenault Leisure Centre.
