West Australian cricket star Mitch Marsh and wife Greta have shared adorable shots of their newborn baby less than two weeks after her birth.

Posting a couple of snaps to Instagram on Wednesday, the first-time parents gently cradled their daughter as she lay awake in a white one-piece.

The pair also revealed the name of their precious new addition to the public for the first time

“Our Olive 💕 our hearts are so full,” the 33-year-old all-rounder captioned the post.

Well-wishers have been quick to throw their support behind the young parents, who married in the South West coastal town of Gracetown in April 2023.

Jessica Head, the wife of Aussie batsman Travis Head, offered her best wishes to the couple after giving birth to her second child Harrison on November 4.

“Congrats mum and dad, she’s beautiful ❤️,” the mother of two said.

Australian Test keeper Alex Carey responded simply, “Beautiful guys! ❤️”.

The couple welcomed their daughter into the world on Sunday November 17, just days before Marsh took the field at Perth Stadium for Australia in the first of five Tests against India.

Marsh is the brother of retired Test star Shaun, 41, and son of Geoff, 65.

Indian Test captain Rohit Sharma chose against flying to Australia with his teammates ahead of the first Test as he awaited the birth of his second child, who was born in November 15.

The batting star will be available for selection in the second Test in Adelaide beginning December 6.
