Hayden Young 9: His 16 disposal first half kept the Dockers in it. Last minute heroics saved it.

Caleb Serong 8: Got rolling after quiet start and was important around stoppages

Brennan Cox 8: Part of a very good defensive effort that limited Richmond’s half-time lead.

Jordan Clark 7.5: His hard run gave rebound impetus. Having a big year.

Andrew Brayshaw 7.5: Worked as hard as ever but missed a couple and dropped a critical last quarter mark.

Will Brodie 7: Sparkled in the first term with eight disposals and a goal. Just solid after that.

Liam Henry 6.5: Getting better. Doesn’t get a lot of ball but very good when he has it.

James Aish 6: Solid on his wing and important in the last quarter.

Luke Ryan 6: Defended well but has lost the art of considered rebound. Either too safe or too risky

David Mundy 6: Still valuable with the ball and had impact in the clinches when the game was hot.

Heath Chapman 6: Had the tough job on Shai Bolton and had some good moments and some issues.

Griffin Logue 5.5: Got the Dockers on the board with an early goal and took a turn in the ruck.

Sean Darcy 5.5: Won the ruck knocks but not imposing himself around the ground as he has before.

Blake Acres 5: Struggling for the form he had earlier in the year. Steady at best.

Alex Pearce 5: Horrible first term clanger created a Shai Bolton goal. Better after that.

Michael Walters 4.5: Just battles to create the space to make him dangerous. When he has space he is still dangerous.

Matt Taberner 4.5: Dropped a couple of marks he should have held and missed one before a last quarter goal.

Bailey Banfield 4: Couldn’t get dangerous forward of centre apart from a last quarter goal.

Nathan Fyfe 4: Subbed off in third term after a first half goal.

Michael Frederick 4: Doesn’t do enough. Great in space but needs to be better in traffic and without the ball.

Brandon Walker 4: Form has dipped a bit. Tends to run and blaze with the ball and turn it over.

Lachie Schultz 4: Struggled for touches and didn’t hit the scoreboard.

Travis Colyer 3: Replaced Fyfe as the medi-sub but was reasonably quiet.
