Promising Giadresco stable stallion Profit Street made a successful return to the track at the weekend, winning the $60,000 D’orsogna Italian Race Day Handicap (1200m) at the weekend.

Profit Street was first up from an almost six month spell, to grab the victory on Saturday, with champion jockey William Pike in the saddle.

Winning by half a length, the six-year-old put on a dominant display down the straight after hitting the turn in ninth.

The victory was Profit Street’s seventh win from 15 starts and his first since May, when he won over the same distance at Belmont.

It was the fourth win over the 1200m for the talented sprinter, who has already won more than $180,000.

The Giadresco stable did not have any luck the next day in Narrogin, with Sixpence Spent and Mighty Chance both finishing second in their respective races.
