A new-look West Coast lined up for the club’s official team photo on Tuesday, with new co-captains Liam Duggan and Oscar Allen front and centre alongside coach Adam Simpson.

New faces, including No.1 pick Harley Reid and the rest of last year’s draft crop joined new recruits Tyler Brockman and Matt Flynn in blue and gold guernseys ahead of their first seasons as Eagles.

Injured forward Liam Ryan was in attendance, while midfield bull Elliot Yeo couldn’t stop pulling faces for the cameras.

Duggan, 27, didn’t weigh in on who would take the longest to get ready, but did say “it’s probably not Jeremy McGovern.”

“He’s been and done already I think,” Duggan joked.

The premiership defender said the team photo signals the countdown to round one as the club looks ahead to the 2024 season.

“It’s an exciting day, this day kind of kicks off the year a little bit,” he said.

“The transition from pre-season hard slogs, hot days and start to focus on footy, so it’s an exciting time of the year.”
