Football: Goal feast dished up
South West football fans were treated to a goal bonanza this weekend, including a stunning performance by Busselton's Ben Grace who booted 12 of his own.

Busselton have struck gold, with their Goldfields recruit, Ben Grace, kicking an amazing 12 goals, to help them secure a 104 trouncing of Collie on Saturday night in Busselton.
Grace, recruited from Subiaco, via the Goldfields, put in a powerhouse performance at full forward, with strong marking and deadly accurate kicking.

Harvey Bulls scored their best win since joining the South West Football League in 2009 when they held on for a thrilling three point win over Carey Park at the Harvey Recreation Ground on Sunday.
The Panthers were away to a great start with veteran Aaron Hill in scintillating form with four first quarter goals and with Matthew Martin also booting two it was seven goals to three at the first change.

Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault's disastrous opening to the 2011 South West Football League season continued on Sunday in the form of a 82-point loss to the Eaton Boomers at Glen Huon Reserve.
After suffering a spanking at the hands of South Bunbury two weeks ago the sluggish Lions were again outclasses at the hands of a young Boomers side who did as they pleased for most of the afternoon.
Kicking into a slight breeze the visitors were swamped in a six-goals-to-one first quarter, and never recovered.
Augusta-Margaret River 11.16 (82) d Bunbury 9.15 (69)

Augusta-Margaret River showed their potential in round one with a convincing win against the Harvey Bulls and have shown further evidence of a strong 2011 campaign in the making with a tense 13 point win over Bunbury at Payne Park.
In what was a mostly even contest all afternoon the Hawks eventually ran out 11.16 (82) to 9.15 (69) winners.

South Bunbury showed today why they are considered genuine premiership contenders.
The Tigers produced a professional performance that oozed class and skill. Donnybrook tried hard but were simply outclassed.
The Hands Oval faithful witnessed a methodical victory over the luckless Dons.
